By God’s grace, we are growing! And while we are thankful for our current building, we need more space. Specifically, we need a classroom for children’s ministry, an entryway that can accommodate more people, and an office for counseling and other pastoral ministry. The Details
After several meetings with our leaders and members, we have come up with a plan to address our most urgent needs, while also preparing for future growth. This addition will accomplish the following 5 goals:
1. Provide a multipurpose classroom for children's ministry and other Bible studies.
The above photo shows our only current nursery/classroom. It is quite small and on some days we are forced to cancel children's church and leave this available as a nursery only. The new addition prioritizes a large classroom that will enable us to provide more children's ministries and reach more young families in our community.
2. Provide an entryway that can accommodate more people.
The above photo shows our current entryway coming in/going out. It is always quite crowded on Sunday mornings and can be overwhelming for first time visitors. The new addition will have an open entryway that is warm and welcoming for guests.
3. Provide a multipurpose office.
The above photo shows our only current office and storage spaces. Because of the small size, a table is set up in the sanctuary during the week for counseling and other meetings. The new addition will provide a new multipurpose office space for pastoral ministry, meetings, and other office needs.
4. Increase the seating capacity of our current sanctuary.
The above photo shows our current sanctuary. The new addition will provide an office and more storage. This will allow us to remove the front office/storage rooms and add several more rows of seating at the front of the sanctuary.
5. Put us in a position to add a Phase 2 if needed.
If the Lord continues to grow our church, this addition puts us in a position to add a Phase 2 in the future. In Phase 2, we could potentially add a new sanctuary and convert our current sanctuary into a fellowship hall and kitchen.
