"Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable." Psalm 145:2-3

Take a moment to adore God for who he is (holy, faithful, loving, sovereign, wise, unchanging, etc.) and thank God for what he has done (spiritual and physical blessings).

“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!” Psalm 139:23-24

Ask God to search your heart and reveal areas where you need repentance (thoughts, desires, attitudes, words, actions). Then bring your requests to God (spiritual and physical needs).

“Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1

Begin with your immediate family and work outward to your extended family. Lift up their spiritual and physical needs.

"Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints." Ephesians 6:18.

Begin praying by name for individuals and families at Mercy Hill (the member directory works great for this). Then continue praying for Mercy Hill as a whole. Ask God to make us united, holy, and on mission for him. Ask God to send us leaders, laborers, and lost people for his glory.

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10

This is where you lift up your unbelieving friends, co-workers, and neighbors, asking that God would save them. Then continue expanding the circle and pray for your county, your state, your nation, and our world. Ask God to push back the darkness and advance his glorious rule and reign until his glory fills the whole earth.
